Every year the Garden City recreation commission puts on Santa's Carnival. It's great to take your kids to. It's inside the fairgrounds, so perfect temperature. They had 2 "big kid" rides and 6 little kid rides. They also have little games for the kids. We went on Sat. afternoon and had a great time. They rode everything at least twice. Maddi was a little disappointed because she wasn't tall enough to ride the swings, however, she is a Scrambler queen. She rode 5 times and the only reason she stopped is because they were closing.

On Sunday we went and got our Christmas tree. We opted for a little smaller one this year for a few reasons 1) We're only going to have it for a couple of weeks since Thanksgiving was so late and 2) There really weren't any bigger ones that were still alive!
