Animal Kingdom & Epcot

On Monday, we went to the Animal Kingdom. I took more pictures of the scenery here than anything else, so I didn't add many to the blog. We started out by riding Expedition Everest which is their roller coaster. Everything has a height minimum & Maddi is such a little peanut with a dare devil personality. She wanted to ride so bad, but wasn't tall enough. I thought she would be ok for the 40" rides, but we soon discovered she was about 1/2 inch too short. She could only ride the rapids and the Tricertops Twirl (Dumbo ride w/ dinosaurs) which really upset her. I promised to do something about it. (More on this before SeaWorld).

We went on the safari and then decided to ride the train. She didn't make it very far! She slept for about an hour while we ate lunch and walked around.

Trey, however, was a ball of energy!

Here's Maddi at Pocohantas. She is carrying a real snake, Maddi's favorite part of the show.

Maddi & Sydney at The Lion King. This was by far the best show of the trip. We saw Nemo: The Musical, The Little Mermaid & several others, but none compared to The Lion King. Maddi's 2 favorite things from Animal Kingdom were A Bug's Life & the rapids ride, which we got so wet from, it took several hours to dry out!!!

We went to Epcot on Tuesday. I didn't take many pictures at Epcot mainly because it rained most of the day. There were 2 rides we wanted to do & when we got there, the fast passes were already late in the evening, so we just picked one to ride. It was called Soarin' & has a 40" minimum. Maddi was wearing her wedge flip flops, so we thought it would be no problem. The girl fortunately let her get by, because she was still a little short. She loved it. She has the most daring personality. We enjoyed the day, but I have to admit, this was our least favorite park.

Notice the dark storm clouds in the background.

Maddi inside Bruce's (from Nemo) mouth.

Jumping on the instruments in the imagination center. She didn't weigh enough to get them to play unless she jumped really hard. It was funny watching her try to put every muscle into her jumping.
Her favorite things at Epcot were Soarin' and Spaceship Earth (the big silver ball) which she rode twice.
