Maddi's Big Day

Maddi has had a very big day today. First of all, we had our slumber party last night. Then at the pool today, she passed her swim test (one full length of the pool). She can now go everywhere w/out me. Then she had a haircut, only the 2nd one she's ever had! And finally, when we got back to grandma's, this is what she got to do.




Yes, that is a live snake, about 3 feet long. She wanted to give it kisses, but we drew the line there. She was not happy that grandpa wanted to let it go. If she could've had her way, she probably would be sleeping with it tonight!!!

Here's a little video before the snake was set free. It really stunk, so at the end when Maddi gives it back to grandpa, that is what she is saying. "It's stinks, grandpa"
