Happy Halloween

We started out the week by carving our pumpkins on Sunday night. Trey was much more interested in climbing and watching. Not too excited about actually getting all the pumpkin guts out. Maddi loved it. She dug in and pulled out all the insides and helped by drawing her pumpkin face.

The finished product. Maddi's is the happy one, Trey's is the scary one.

On Friday morning, Maddi's school had their costume parade and sang some songs for the parents. Here's Dorothy (Maddi) with her friend Batman (Aaron).

The class picture. Not the clearest, but the only picture that Maddi was actually facing forward.
Singing their Halloween song.
Another Halloween song.

Trey wore his costume too. When he first saw it before we left, he looked at it and said, "Gum!" Anything that is sweet, candy, gum, etc. is called gum.

Here they are before we went trick or treating.

The loving siblings. Look how excited Trey is!!

Our neighbors had a party and here is Maddi tearing the streamers down.

Trey eating his supper. He had one cracker and some cheese before his meal of chocolate, candy & suckers.

Trey with neighbors Piper and Kaci.

My best attempt at getting a picture of Trey standing still.

The same with Maddi. She ran the whole night.
