The Wedding

Tommy's cousin, Amber, got married this past weekend in Indianapolis. Madison and her cousin Elizabeth were flower girls and they did a great job. Anyone who knows the dynamic between these cousins will know that Friday night at the rehearsal was very energetic since they hadn't seen each other since 4th of July. It started with them all getting together about 5 minutes before rehearsal started. And then they had to calm down and actually try to practice walking down the aisle! Not the easiest of things. You can see from the picture below they were still goofing off by the end of rehearsal.

Maddi and Elizabeth's new fashion statement.

Madison giving Trey lovin'.

Maddi getting her hair curled. They did ringlets in all the girls hair. They looked so cute. Maddi sat still while she got her hair curled. It didn't take that long since she has such thin hair and it's already curly.

The finished product. Aren't they adorable?

Walking down the aisle. Elizabeth is reminding Maddi that she is supposed to be throwing her flowers.

She had spent the night with her cousins on Friday night so she hadn't seen Trey for almost 24 hours. This was when she saw him and she paused long enough to say "Hi Trey"

Trey did great. He sat on Grandpa's lap and read his books during the ceremony.

The flower girls after the ceremony.

Can I dance yet?

The only decent picture of all of us.

Daddy and Maddi

Trey dancing. The kids danced all night long. They had such a great time.

Maddi and Elizabeth teaching Trey their moves.

Maddi is a Brick House!

This is how the night wound down. Trey rolling around on the floor while Maddi hurdled him.

Dog piling on Alex. There were lots of dog piles over the evening and no discriminating who was on the bottom!

Trey trying desperately to get away from Maddi.

We had a great time and I was lucky enough to have to get up at 5:30 the next morning and travel home with the kids. Tommy had to stay in Indy for a meeting so I was on my own. They both slept on the 1st flight. They were really good, I think mainly because they were absolutely exhausted!
