Florida 2009

We set out on our annual Florida trip on Monday, Mar 16. It started at 4 am with me getting up, ready & suitcases to the bellman, then getting the kids up & to the shuttle for our 6 am flight. It wasn't too bad, but it sure is easier when there are 2 adults! Tommy joined us on Saturday and we all then stayed until Sun, Mar 29. We were originally supposed to come home on Friday, but thanks to mother nature (16 inches of snow!) we got to stay a couple extra days. We had a great 2 weeks with Grandma & Grandpa Gene, Grandma & Grandpa Warner, Aunt Misty, Uncle Matt, Alex, Elizabeth & Luke and even got to see Aunt Julie, Laura and Warner for a couple of days. Enjoy the pics. I know there are a lot of them!

Trey, Madison and Warner feeding the birds.

Maddi on her new dolphin.

4 generations of Warner men.

Grandpa, Elizabeth, Madison & Alex building a volcano.

Can you see all the excitement! After a rough day on the beach & at the pool.

Maddi & Elizabeth

Burying Alex in the sand. It was a complete group effort.

The boys building a mountain as the girls supervised.

Grandma and Alex having a waterfight. Or as Elizabeth called it, a beach show.

Madison after a long day of swimming.

Both my kids dancing on the stage on St. Patrick's Day.

M&M's melt in your mouth (or on your mouth, face, anywhere they touch!)

Building a sand castle.

Enjoying the beach.

The day just got better! (Disclaimer: Lid is still on Corona!!!)

This is good orange ice cream.

I love it too!!!!

Best friends (for now!)

Trey ended up looking like this everyday. We would get to the beach and within 5 minutes, his face was covered in sand. It didn't seem to bother him though.

Alex & Maddi tubing.

Relaxing.

Just hanging out.

Feeding the birds. This is the kids' favorite thing to do while we are there. The birds come from nowhere and you are surrounded by about 50 of them in less than 30 secs. They will eat right out of your hand.

Family pic at sunset.

Grandma, Grandpa and all the grandkids.

Daddy and Trey.

Tommy & I at sunset.

The beautiful sunset.

A big kiss from my little man.

Too much swimming = a nice poolside nap.

Daddy & Maddi.

Here's a video of Maddi diving.

Trey got very brave while we were there and became a little fish like his sister. Here he is after he figured out that he could get out on the ladder & jump in all by himself. He would yell "Canonball" before he jumped.

Trey showing his moves on St. Patrick's Day.

Still jealous! Wasn't Ben "like" family? I think that deserves an invite!
