Maddi's school Christmas party

Thursday was Maddi's party at school. They had a great time playing their instruments and singing, then seeing Santa. They also each brought a gift for baby Jesus and got to open them. These gifts are now going to be donated to the pregnancy crisis center. Ms. Jennifer had several crafts and games for them as well. The made candy canes by painting with marbles (We did the same thing at Braden's birthday last year), made angels and played pin the bow on the donkey. It's so fun watching 10 3-year-olds going in every direction!

Madison was the only one to volunteer to go sit on Santa's lap and tell him what she wanted. She jumped up and ran up to him to tell him she wanted a dresser table. (She wants a Dora vanity, where she got dresser table is a mystery to me!)

Yet another picture with Santa. Trey was more interested in his beard than anything else. This makes the 3rd visit with Santa, so hopefully he'll remember what they want! Madison is concerned about him coming down the fireplace because she says we have a little fire (the pilot light in our gas fireplace) and he might burn himself. I reassured her that we would make sure Santa didn't get burned on Christmas Eve.
